Disney builds stone wall at lake where alligator killed boy – CBS Miami

ORLANDO (CBSMiami / AP) – Walt Disney World is building a stone wall around a resort lake where an alligator killed a 2-year-old boy.

Disney officials told the Orlando Sentinel for an article published Sunday that the fence wall was part of the new security plan following the death of Lane Graves in Omaha, Nebraska.
The boulder wall rises along the beaches of the Seven Seas Lagoon where there are several seaside resorts.

Disney also installed warning signs and ropes after Graves was dragged by an alligator into the lake on June 14.
The boy’s body was found 16 hours later and an autopsy showed he had died of drowning and traumatic injuries.
The family decided not to press charges against Disney.
