Exhibition of paintings and murals from December 7


Bangalore: “Soulful Strokes” – The paintings and murals exhibition organized by Kalashristi at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath from December 7 to 13, 2021 will show the works of 52 artists from different regions of India. The event will be opened by the chief guest teacher. KS Appajaiah, General Secretary of Chitrakala Parishath. “The seven-day event will be a wonderful experience for viewers as a different subject, media and a fusion of all contemporary styles will be featured here. Plus, you will be able to meet these artists on location,” said Appajaiah.

Fiberglass murals are a special addition to this exhibit. Interior designers and architects will surely love these murals. Acrylic, oil and palette knife, watercolor, fiberglass mural – all different media works will be on display here. The paintings covering the heritage of Karnataka – Vidhan Soudha, the stone chariot of Hampi, the landscape, the seascape, floral, portrait and a myriad of human emotions are beautifully represented through the brush and the canvas. “It is worth visiting these fantastic works of art after a long hiatus from Covid. It’s fresh air for all of us to see the works of art by this group,” said Appajaiah. The curator of this event is artist Barnali Ray.
