Artist Boichi, fresh from the end of Dr. Stone, writes an incredible One Piece chapter. Will he lend more of his talents to the manga?

By announcing the special one-shot A play chapter scheduled for Tuesday, April 5, creator Eiichiro Oda has revealed that the chapter will be illustrated by an acclaimed manga artist Boichi.

Boichi has just completed a five-year gig with Riichiro Inagaki as an artist for Dr Stone which ended earlier this month. By working on Dr Stone, Boichi stood out as an extraordinary manga artist. In 2018, he won the top prize in the Shonen category at the 64th Shogakukan Manga Awards for his work on Dr Stone. A year later, he won the grand prize at the Japan Media Arts Festival in the manga category, for his work on his own Origin manga. His work must have caught the attention of A play‘s Oda because, in 2019, Oda asked him to join his “One Piece Cover Comic Project”, which invites mangakas to reinterpret a A play chapter in their own style. Boichi began the project with a reshoot of the climactic fight in A play #51 between Roronoa Zoro and Dracule Mihawk. While Oda’s original chapter artwork is solid, Boichi’s interpretation takes its visual enjoyment to another level. It makes a reader wonder how much better A play could have been if Boichi had illustrated it from the start.

Related: One Piece’s Luffy Could Awaken An Even Greater Power Than Gear FifthWith such experience and such success, it seems quite normal that Oda invites Boichi again to illustrate another classic. A play fight between Nami and Kalifa, the assassin and member of the world government’s CP9 organization. As with the fight between Zoro and Mihawk, the original Nami vs. Kalifa contest, which took place in A play #411-412, is drawn somewhat chaotically with an abundance of visual chatter that distracts the reader’s view from the action.

One Piece Rivals Cover

If his past work is any indication, Boichi’s laid-back style will not only give the characters more definition, but also clean up the artistic clutter so the reader can focus on what’s most important in any manga fight scene. , the interaction between opponents. Nami and Kalifa’s fight is an exciting point in the story, so it will be interesting to see how Boichi’s style amps up the tension of an already thrilling fight.

While the next quality of Boichi Rivals chapter is guaranteed, its past success with A playOda’s clear appreciation for his works and his recent “release” from work on Dr Stone ask the question: if he will have more opportunities to illustrate A play, possibly in a permanent or semi-permanent role. It is unlikely that the A play fanbase would oppose the change. Indeed, after the April release, fans may prefer Boichi like A play‘s illustrator goes ahead.

For nearly two decades, naruto was one of the most successful anime and manga franchises in the world, and it’s still quite popular. Naruto is the main character in his story, and he’s the definition of an anime guy who never needs rescuing. He started out as a knucklehead with minimal skill, but by the end of the series he became one of the strongest ninjas in history.

RELATED: One Piece: 10 Times Everything Went To Plan

A play probably more successful than naruto, and it mainly focuses on hackers. A large number of A play’s characters possess some type of Haki or Devil Fruit power, and these abilities make some characters very powerful. Some characters are strong enough to take on Naruto, but there are others who still can’t defeat him.

ten Jinbe may be strong but a massive Rasengan would still knock him down

Jinbei watches Hoddy Jones

Jinbe is a former sea warlord and he is currently the helmsman of the Straw Hats. Each member of the crew has incredibly high stamina, but Jinbe’s is especially high. He is able to use Observation Haki, but is much more proficient with Armament Haki.

Jinbe may be tough, but his body has never faced the crushing power of the Rasengan. This jutsu burrows into its target’s body, causing massive internal damage. Jinbe can probably withstand a regular Rasengan, but Naruto’s Massive Rasengan is an entirely different story.

9 Naruto’s shadow clones counter Katakuri’s Advanced Observation Haki

Katakuri vs. Luffy

Many A play the bad guys aren’t really that bad, including Charlotte Katakuri, who ate a devil fruit that gives her full control over the mochi. His Armament Haki is quite strong, and his Observation Haki allows him to see slightly into the future.

RELATED: 10 Worst Things About A Room We Can’t Help But Love

Naruto can produce dozens of shadow clones at once, and he uses them to overwhelm and distract his opponents. If he can use these clones to defeat individuals with the Byakugan, Sharingan, and Rinnegan, then he should be able to overcome Katakuri’s future vision as well.

8 If Naruto Can Handle Pain’s Giant Beasts, He Can Handle Jack’s Transformation

Naruto’s conversation with Nagato is just one of the instances where he acted like an adult, but that conversation only happened because he defeated Nagato’s Six Paths of Pain. The Animal Way allowed Pain to summon various oversized creatures.

Jack the Drought is one of Kaido’s All-Stars, and he ate a Devil Fruit that allows him to turn into a mammoth. In Sage Mode, Naruto easily overpowered Pain’s creatures, and they were all significantly larger and more dangerous than Jack in his mammoth form.

7 Shiryu’s Devil Fruit would be ineffective against Naruto’s Sage Mode

Pain was undoubtedly one of the Naruto’the smartest villains, but even he couldn’t overcome the future Hokage’s Sage Mode. This mode enhances all of Naruto’s physical abilities and allows him to sense attacks without seeing them.

Shiryu obtained the Clair-Clair Fruit, which allows him to make himself invisible. He can also make objects with which he is in contact invisible. Shiryu is one of Blackbeard’s Titanic captains, and he is a master swordsman. If he attempts to attack Naruto, however, his attacks will likely be stopped before they can even land.

6 Naruto can easily destroy Aokiji’s ice

As a former Admiral, Aokiji is one of the strongest characters in A play, and he possesses a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to create, control, and transform into ice. If Naruto were to get too close to him, chances are his entire body would be trapped in ice.

RELATED: 10 Times One Piece Made Us Cry Over A Gagged Character

Fortunately, Naruto can break through Aokiji’s ice with his Rasengan and Rasenshuriken. If frozen, he can use Kurama’s chakra to free himself. Under normal circumstances, Aokiji’s body would be immune to physical attacks, but a Tailed Beast Bomb would destroy every inch of the former Admiral’s ice body.

5 If Pica’s Stone Powers Couldn’t Stop Zoro, They Can’t Stop Naruto Either

Pica was one of the best officers in Doflamingo, and he could coat his entire body in Armament Haki. He ate the Stone-Stone Fruit, which grants him the ability to manipulate and merge with stone. With this ability, he can use the terrain’s geography to create a colossal stone golem.

Zoro was able to cut through that Golem, okay that took a lot of strength, but he was still able to do it. Naruto’s Rasenshurken can destroy stone, and a single Tail Bomb would vaporize Pica and his entire golem in an instant.

4 Garp Can’t Handle Naruto’s Tailed Beast Mode

When he was younger, Garp was considered to be on par with Roger and Whitebeard in terms of strength. Luffy’s grandfather is now in his late 70s, but he’s still one of the strongest Marines in the series, and he’s extremely proficient with Armament Haki.

In normal melee combat, Garp might be able to damage Naruto, but Naruto can enter Tailed Beast Mode. In this form, Naruto’s body is encased in a life-size replica of Kurama. Even Garp cannot withstand the physical power of this form for very long.

3 Naruto can evade Sanji’s kicks with Sage Mode

Sanji on Whole Cake Island

A play fans have seen a number of sad goodbyes over the years, and Sanji has been a part of many of them. He doesn’t possess a Devil Fruit, but his Armament Haki is particularly strong, and during the Wano Arc he unlocked his family’s genetic enhancements.

All of Sanji’s physical attributes have grown in power, but his signature kicks won’t be enough to beat someone like Naruto. If he were to enter Sage Mode, Naruto can sense the kicks coming and act accordingly. It also helps that Naruto is an excellent hand-to-hand combatant.

2 Even with Haki, Zoro’s swords may not be able to hurt Naruto

Zoro brandishing his swords

Zoro is well on his way to becoming A playthe greatest swordsman in the series, but many fans already consider him one of the best characters in the series. He wields three swords of exceptional quality and can use all forms of Haki.

RELATED: 10 Times Usopp Proved He’s Luffy’s Best Teammate In One Piece

He can now use an advanced form of Conqueror’s Haki to give his swords great power, but even this ability can’t beat Naruto. Sage Mode would make it very difficult to land a sword swing, and it’s hard to believe Zoro would be able to get through Naruto’s Tailed Beast Mode.

1 Kaido’s body may be durable, but even he can’t survive a fully charged Tail Bomb

Kaido is an emperor, which means he is one of the most powerful pirate captains in history. He possesses all three forms of Haki, and his advanced Conqueror Haki increases his superhuman strength and durability to insane levels.

He ate a mythical Zoan Devil Fruit that allows him to transform into a massive Azure Dragon, and he can also take on a dragon-human hybrid form. Very few people have been able to hurt Kaido, but even his body cannot withstand the destructive power of a Tail Bomb.

One Piece The previous chapter was quite intense and gave fans a glimpse of the ongoing events on Onigashima. Although most of the fights have already been dealt with, the alliance still has to wait for Luffy to finish his fight against Kaido before they can plan the escape from the island. Raizo and Izo’s fights against Fukurokuju and Maha also ended respectively and, again, those on Kaido’s side suffered a heavy blow. A play 1042 will be crucial for story progression and the expectations of Luffy’s fight against Kaido are very high.

GAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY

Furthermore, Orochi is nearing the end of his reign and Komurasaki made sure he was severely weakened after hitting him with a Sea Prism Stone Nail. More importantly, CP0’s mission to kill Luffy in order to avoid the worst case could be addressed in A play chapter 1042 and there’s every reason to be excited about it.

RELATED: One Piece: Will There Be A Gear 5th Luffy?

What to expect from One Piece 1042?

One Piece Chapter 1042

As for the last chapter, A play 1042 will likely give fans a glimpse of multiple events happening at the same time. The biggest problem to solve is CP0’s mission to eliminate Luffy. Although the leader of the group looked legitimately worried about having to intercept the fight between two Yonko-level characters, since this is an order from the Gorosei, he will have to carry them out. Interestingly, X Drake was nearby when he got the call, which means he could very well help Luffy and deal with the leading member of CP0. However, Drake is hurt enough already, so he’ll likely struggle to deal with the CP0 leader.

It goes without saying that One piece 1042 will also focus on Luffy’s fight against Kaido. In the previous chapter, Luffy underwent his Gear Fourth: Snakeman transformation in order to land powerful blows on Kaido and once again gain the upper hand in battle. Kaido, being a Yonko, will definitely not be so easy to defeat, so fans should expect the fight to continue in the next chapter of the story. Interestingly enough, Luffy mentioned that this was his last use of Gear Fourth, meaning that if Luffy temporarily loses to Kaido, Gear Fifth could be next. Story Chapter 1042 will definitely feature an amazing fight between Luffy and Kaido.

RELATED: One Piece: What You Need To Know About Yamato’s Devil Fruit

This, however, probably won’t be the end of the fight. The actual fight between Luffy and Kaido has just started, and since Luffy is the main character, this fight will probably span a few chapters, as expected from his fights. There’s a good chance that Luffy will run out of Gear Fourth in the next chapter or get overwhelmed by the Yonko because traditionally Luffy’s gears during big fights are either new or much tighter before he enters the final form.

One Piece Chapter 1042: Is It Gear Fifth Time?

Luffy Gear Fifth One Piece

It’s safe to say that Luffy’s Gear Fourth won’t be enough to defeat Kaido. Luffy almost always uses new powers when going into a big battle and fans have already seen this happen against Doflamingo, followed by Cracker and Katakuri. Kaido, being the strongest of them all, should be able to push him to a point where he’s forced to rely on Gear Fifth. However, in order for Gear Fifth to make an appearance, Gear Fourth will need to wear down, which means Luffy’s match against Kaido is going to become much tougher than anything he’s ever faced before.

Luffy could potentially be beaten to a point where he’s out of Gear Fourth, and that would open the door to him waking up. Previously, the Gorosei mentioned that they wanted to hide the real name of something unknown from the annals of history. Considering the orders they gave to CP0 recently, it can be assumed that the object they are afraid of is the Gomu Gomu no Mi or, to be more precise, the awakening of the Gomu Gomu no Mi.

RELATED: One Piece: Is Luffy Finally Yonko Level?

CP0 might intercept Luffy’s fight against Kaido, however, they will eventually push him even closer to awakening. In future chapters, fans will likely see Luffy enter a new form and take a final stand against Kaido in a life or death battle. For now, fans should look forward to the Gear Fourth display of Luffy vs. Kaido, which will likely be a big chunk of A play 1042.

When will One Piece 1042 be released?

One Piece 1042 Release Date

A play just returned from its week-long hiatus with Chapter 1041, which means fans will be able to enjoy the next chapter of the story without any interruptions from Oda or the magazine. A play should return with the next issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. As such, A play 1042 will be released on March 6, 2022. Fans can read the new chapters on Sunday through Shonen Jump and MangaPlus apps for free.

Roronoa Zoro wants to be “the greatest swordsman in the world”, but how would he cope with The Northern Blade – Jin Mu Won?

The world of shonen is full of characters who strive to be “the strongest”, as well as a myriad of famous swordsmen, demonstrating their unique and awe-inspiring techniques to the admiration of audiences around the world. Among dozens of swordsmen, The Legend of the Northern BladeThe protagonist of Jin Mu Won only seeks revenge on his fallen father, never aspiring to be the greatest; despite this, he is still in the higher realms of power, speed, and stamina.

Likewise, A playInitially, Roronoa Zoro didn’t grow up wanting to be the world’s greatest swordsman, but instead fulfilled the dream on behalf of his childhood friend Kuina. As a result, he has become a real beast and one of the most popular anime swordsmen around. It is therefore natural to compare these different warriors and wonder who would triumph if they had to cross the same universe.

The strength required to be the greatest

Zoro billionaire global trichiliocosm

Growing up in the ruins of the Northern Heavenly Sect under the constant watch of the Central Heavenly Alliance, Jin Mu Won secretly learned the “Gathering of Ten Thousand Shadows”, the hidden martial art from the founder of the Northern Heavenly Sect, Buk Jin. -Hu. This powerful set of swordsmanship techniques forms the basis of Jin’s strength, allowing him to strike down all First Generation Disciples of Gong-Dong Monastery with just air pressure by drawing his blade. He went on to defeat the monastery leader Mu-Gwang with a technique called “Shadowed Blade of the End: Spirit of the Fallen Star”, which creates a giant torrent of shadow energy above Jin that he can use to attack his enemies. after putting overwhelming mental pressure on them. This technique is comparable in power and style to Zoro’s “dragon twister”, without requiring Jin to get airborne to use it.

With his mastery of the three-sword style, and after practicing during the time skip with A Rooms the current strongest swordsman “Dracule Mihawk”, Zoro’s greatest feat in the series came when he split Pica in half (after assimilating himself to a mountain) using the “Billionaire World Trichiliocosm”. In chapter 69 of Legend of the Northern Blade Jin performed a similar feat, channeling all the shadow energy he could muster into a technique called “One Focus”, he dissected Jo Cheon-Woo and simultaneously sliced an entire chain in half. of mountains behind Jo. Jin is also able to use the “inner shadow” to detect and pinpoint the location of any living presence in a wide surrounding area, similar to how Zoro was able to use observation haki to find Jin’s true body. Pica inside the mountain. As a result, Zoro and Jin seem on par when it comes to their physical power.

The cursed blades bear their weight

snow flower spirit

The Origin Of Zoro’s Many Swords Throughout A play has been explored extensively throughout the series’ 25-year serialization, focusing on high-quality blades with legendary status and/or cursed blades that are powerful with their own personalities. The recent notable addition to his arsenal is “Enma”, the former blade of legendary swordsman Kozuki Oden, who is capable of destroying an entire cliff with a slight swing but has a temperamental personality, drawing all of Zoro’s haki out of him with force. if he is not careful.

Jin Mu Won’s blade is called “Snow Flower”, a “bewitched” (cursed) blade of his own creation, which took him 2 years to forge from a fallen meteorite. Snow Flower’s bewitched personality comes from the female leader of a tribal group who once worshiped the meteorite, but was later slaughtered for a demonic blood art ritual, imbuing the leader’s desire for revenge in stone and by the sequel, in Jin’s Sword. Unlike Zoro’s cursed sword which has a tendency to rebel against his will, Snow Flower has been shown to aid Jin in battle many times. The spirit of the blade was able to possess “Chung-In” when it made contact with her, preventing her from stealing the sword while Jin slept. Snow Flower’s spirit also appeared in a ghostly form around the blade, restraining Jo Cheon-Woo’s arms in his fight with Jin, and also wanted Jin’s body forcefully when his consciousness faded. With that in mind, Jin’s weapon of choice seems to give him a slight advantage as things stand.

Beyond the Limits of Human Endurance

Roronoa Zora Nothing Happened Scene

Jin Mu-Won has endured many physical hardships throughout the series to date, including but not limited to withstanding Jo Cheon-Woo’s “Fists of Shining Heavens: Rain of Heavenly Destruction” which dug huge chasms in the landscape, blocking the sword god. “Illuminating Sword Outburst” by Yeon Cheon-Hwa and surviving his last technique “Phantom Blade”. Despite the impressive nature of these feats on the surface, in reality, Jin Mu-Won has often been shown to receive medical assistance and also rely on Snow Flower to maintain his consciousness in some cases.

In comparison, Zoro has one of the most famous feats of stamina in any shonen with the famous “nothing happened” scene where he took on all of Luffy’s pain when fighting Gecko Moria in Thriller. Bark expecting him to kill him. He was later found by Sanji the next day, surrounded by his own blood, but still conscious and standing. More recently, Zoro survived a joint attack by two Sea Emperors (Big Mom and Kaido), which hit him head-on. Therefore Zoro has the stamina advantage and in a prolonged battle he would probably be able to absorb more damage, until his opponent runs out of stamina.

Ultimately, a fight between Zoro and Jin Mu-Won would clearly be a hard-fought battle, taking everything both swordsmen have for one of them to win. With Zoro having a small advantage in a stamina battle, and the pair evenly matched in strength, the battle will likely be decided by the combatant’s use of their respective blades and how the blades react in combat. Snow Flower’s influence could be a deciding factor in the fight for Jin, but at the same time, if Zoro were to overcome Enma’s current rebellious nature, he would certainly offer more in terms of offensive power and turn the tables on Jin.

by Eichiro Oda A play is one of the most beloved manga of all time. He rivaled anime superstar dragonball until he eventually overtook him. Although it is considered one of the big three manga publishers Shounen jumpit overtook its competition and is now the best-selling manga and comic book of all time, according to Anime News Network.

Of course, this record-breaking story about a pirate crew cannot stay on the page and in the animation cells. A play has made its way into many different video game adventures over the years, some of which focus on adventure and others on brutal combat.

ten One Piece: Burning Blood (2016) – 66

Luffy fights in the arena

Compared to a classmate Shounen jump franchise naruto, there are not many fighting games in the history of Luffy. There’s no direct comparison to the Naruto Ultimate Ninja STORM franchise, at least. So Spike-Chunsoft and Bandai-Namco set out to create a modern fighting series for the stretchy hero. This shot was One Piece: Burning Blood.

The game boasted a “complex combat system” that allowed for 1-on-1 combat and allowed players to make full use of their abilities. It also allowed specialist Logia Fruit eaters to avoid damage, much like the show and the anime. Unfortunately, although it sold well in Japan, the game was not extremely well reviewed and critics felt it was rather mediocre.

9 One Piece: Unlimited Adventure (2008) – 67

Luffy holding a mysterious orb

Despite being a shonen fighting anime, A play offers a lot of exploration and adventure. It was inevitable that a game would end up capitalizing on the hacking adventure that the franchise loves so much. This game was One Piece: Unlimited Adventure for the Wii. It was a complete adventure game with puzzles, platforming, and even collectibles that could be crafted into new items.

RELATED: 10 One-Piece Islands Inspired By Real-Life Locations

The game offers three modes: story, VS and survival. While VS and survival modes are standard battle modes with any of the game’s characters, the story mode was more interesting. It featured a unique plot to the game and new enemy encounters. Despite this and heavy marketing, the game only received average reviews.

VIDEO OF THE DAY

8 One Piece: Great Battle (2005) – 69

One Piece Grand Battle cover art and a screenshot of Luffy fighting Nami.

Although it does not have a numerical title, One Piece: Great Battle from 2005 is actually the fourth game in its series. It is the fourth of big battle series, which debuted in 2001 as a series fighter. The series looks like power stone series with its 3D arena combat nature and this fourth and final entry was available on Playstation 2 and Gamecube.

This game featured 19 playable characters from the anime. It also featured four modes: Grand Battle, Story, Training, and Tourney. While the other modes are self-explanatory, the titular mode was simply an arcade mode that could unlock new fighters. The game received average reviews from critics and outlets.

7 One Piece: Great Adventure (2005) – 70

ace

While 2005 big battle game is the last of the series, this does not mean that it remained without sequel. Less than a year later came One Piece: Grand Adventure. This game brought even more characters into the fray, though the story mode was stripped down in comparison.

It’s still a must-have game for fans of anime video games. Its huge number of costumes and 24 playable characters really bring out the vibe of the early series. The game also received more praise than its predecessor, which is impressive considering the game’s short development time.

6 One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 (2013) – 71

Luffy punches while Blackbeard laughs in the background of Pirate Warriors 2.

While A play doesn’t have a fighting game franchise on the same level as other major anime games, it has an iterative franchise that absolutely makes money: the One Piece: Pirate Warriors series. This series incorporates elements of the Dynasty Warriors games, commonly called Musou, and 2 is one of the best games of this parallel series, released for Playstation 3 and Vita.

Unlike the first game, Pirate Warriors 2 features an original story between the arcs of the anime. What made this game a favorite over its predecessor was not only its large roster, but also the lack of quick events. With this change, fans were excited to throw punches at hundreds of enemies as the Straw Hats.

5 One Piece: Unlimited World Red (2014) – 75

luffy vs dragon

One Piece: Unlimited World Red was a show-stopper when it was first released. This 3DS action RPG has Luffy explore a central city and set off from there on various adventures. This style of play really captured the exploration that the franchise is known for, and so it received many ports to other platforms.

At the time of writing, Unlimited Red World is one of the most ported games of the A play series. Unfortunately, something was lost during the translation. While the updated ports for Steam and the Nintendo Switch may be graphically superior, they were rated worse than the original. This is likely due to the lack of touchscreen inputs that made the original so immersive.

4 One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 (2020) – 76

One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 - Everything you need to know before playing - One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 Crew

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is the most recent game of A playthe directory. As such, it is available on all current-gen platforms. In fact, it’s so recent that it adapted the story’s relatively recent Wano arc. However, he takes liberties with this, completely changing the back half of the story.

RELATED: 10 Best One-Piece Finishing Moves, Ranked

The game features the anti-villain gameplay the Warriors franchise is known for. But it’s not just that vanilla Musou taste that Pirate Warriors 4 offers himself. The game also features four new multiplayer modes, allowing players to cooperate and compete against each other. And given that the game has 52 characters, there’s a lot of mixing to do with the different modes.

3 One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 (2015) – 76

One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 art has Luffy, Doflamingo and Sabo.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 is as close to a playable anime as fans are going to get. The game presents each arc of the manga in its story mode. Although condensed, these stories continue through to the game’s most recent release. And with 37 characters to play with, it makes for a very comprehensive take on the arcs and events of the universe.

The game also comes with a new Kizuna Rush mechanic, which allows helper characters to be called in for summoning attacks. Additionally, some characters like Luffy can transform into more powerful forms. The game also contains many logs that track progress and achievements. These new mechanics have helped the game stand out as one of the best A playand games.

2 One Piece (2005) – 76

Luffy's Battle Pirate

A playWhere Shonen Jump One Piece, as is sometimes known, had a lot against him. It was the only game in the franchise to be released only in America. It was also based on the 4Kids English dub which was so hated by fans and viewers. So it’s amazing that this Game Boy Advance beat-em-up is still one of the franchise’s highest-rated games.

The Game Boy Advance has plenty of great games that are still worth playing even today. This A play game from the franchise’s early life is one of them. Although it’s a rather simple one-button masher, the game has a lot of charm with intractable environments and expressive sprites. The game also featured several summonable helpers for Luffy, including the swordsman Zoro.

1 One Piece Treasure Cruise (2015) – 79

One Piece Treasure Cruise

One Piece Treasure Cruise is the phone game in Luffy’s gaming adventures, and it beats the odds by being the highest rated game in the series. treasure cruise is a free role-playing game in which the player assembles a team of six people to piece together the stories from the manga. Combat and decisions are made by tapping the phone screen in time. Despite its simple premise, this freemium title is one of the most downloaded games in the series.

Among the many sources of power that exist within the A piece world, Haki and Devil Fruits are known to be two of the greatest. Devil Fruits was introduced to fans quite early in the series, with Luffy’s Gomu Gomu no Mi debuting in the very first chapter of the story. These mystical fruits have since been explored a lot and currently Devil Fruit users are incredibly common in the series.

At the same time, Eiichiro Oda introduced another power system in the story, which he deepened in story time, called Haki. This power is considered essential for anyone hoping to conquer the New World and has therefore become increasingly important. While Haki and Devil Fruits are amazing in their own way, there are strengths and limitations to both.

Luffy and the Devil Fruit in One Piece

Devil Fruits are an incredible source of power and when consumed, they grant one of three main types of power to the user. A Zoan-type Devil Fruit allows the user to transform into an animal or a hybrid of human and animal at will. Logia, considered the most powerful class of all Devil Fruits, allows the user to create, manipulate, and become an element or force of nature itself. The ability to produce something, along with all the other miscellaneous powers, are part of the Paramecia class.

Obviously, Devil Fruits offer great benefits, depending on the power achieved. For example, the Gura Gura no Mi allows the user to produce earthquakes that can destroy the entire world, which just goes to show that this is an overpowered ability. Just like the Gura Gura no Mi, there are many overpowered fruits with powers that can cause even the most powerful Haki users big problems.

On the other hand, Devil Fruit users also have two glaring weaknesses – sea and sea stone. When a significant part of a Devil Fruit user’s body is submerged in water, they cannot use his Devil Fruit ability at all and is simply too weak to move. Sea Stone, which is a mineral native to Wano, is also a pretty big weakness because it emits the same wavelength as the ocean, which means any devil fruit power doesn’t stand a chance against it. .

One Piece - Big Mom Charlotte Linlin Busoshoku Haki

Compared to Devil Fruits, Haki is a completely different power system as it exists in everyone in the A piece world. It is a spiritual power that only a few people manage to tap into. Once awakened, however, Haki is very useful as it allows the user to manifest their spiritual power in multiple ways. Usually, Haki can be divided into two types – Observation Color Haki and Weapon Color Haki.

Color Observation Haki grants a user a sixth sense and allows them to see things such as movement quite easily. It also makes it possible to feel emotions, sense danger, or even gauge power levels quite easily. Observation Haki is an incredibly useful power in combat. In comparison, Color Armament Haki allows the user to manifest their spirit in the form of invisible armor and use it to attack and defend themselves. The biggest advantage of Color Armament Haki is that it allows the user to bypass any Devil Fruit protection, allowing the user to come into contact with and damage their real body.

RELATED: One Piece: Is Sanji No Longer Human?

When hit with Haki, even a rubber man like Luffy feels pain with blunt attacks, which supposedly shouldn’t work on him. At the same time, the Logia are also vulnerable to his power. A third type of Haki called the Supreme King’s Color, or Conqueror’s Haki, allows the super to impose their will on others and overpower those with weaker wills. This power, however, is only present in one in a million people, which means that not everyone will have it.

One Piece - Luffy and Enel

The other two types of Haki, on the other hand, also have their own weaknesses. In battle, Observation Haki can be easily bypassed with sufficient speed, as seen when Luffy was able to outrun Boa Sandersonia’s moves, or even Enel, despite using Observation Haki. Likewise, while Armament Haki offers excellent defense, it can be broken through and overpowered with sheer force itself. When Luffy fought Marigold, even his advanced use of Armament Haki, called Ryuo, wasn’t enough to guard against Luffy’s incredible strength. Katakuri, whose Haki was far superior to Luffy’s, was unable to withstand the sheer force of Gear Fourth, despite using weaker Haki. It is unconfirmed whether the Sea Stone affects the ability to use Haki or not, however, Luffy could not use his Haki in Udon Prison despite wearing weakened Sea Stone handcuffs.

Luffy Advanced Ryo

Devil Fruits and Haki are incredible sources of energy in the A piece world and they are both capable of taking someone to the top. People like Shanks and even Gol D. Roger have achieved tremendous strength without even having devil fruit power at their disposal. This very clearly implies that devil fruits are not necessary to be among the strongest. At the same time, however, people like Blackbeard have reached the pinnacle of strength primarily using Devil Fruits. Whitebeard’s Devil Fruit was believed to be powerful enough to be able to destroy the entire world, something ancient weapons are generally known to be capable of. This puts into perspective the great power that these fruits also hold.

Essentially, you can’t go wrong with either of the two powers in A piece. However, with Devil Fruits, there are weaknesses that people simply cannot control, such as the sea, which do not affect Haki users. Devil Fruits would also require one to be lucky to achieve great power. Achieving a rather disappointing power is just as possible. In the case of Haki, however, this is not possible as the ability grows stronger as the user trains and gets into dangerous situations that make the most of their abilities. However, Haki wears out the more the user gets tired and it is an ability that weakens during a fight. While some Devil Fruits are affected by this phenomenon, most have no effect on stamina.

Simply put, Devil Fruits are high-risk rewards, meaning one can achieve massive power without even lifting a finger and become instantly strong using them. Haki, on the other hand, is a more stable ability and requires a lot of practice to master. There is no better power between the two, however, depending on what the user prefers in battle, one can definitely be preferred over the other.

Devil’s fruits are known to be the treasure of the sea in the A piece world and they are one of the greatest sources of energy in the series, if not the greatest. Introduced quite early in the story, Devil Fruits only got more complex over time. While Luffy’s Gomu Gomu no Mi was considered one of the few such powers, over time a whole new world of abilities opened up. By the time the Straw Hat Pirates entered Grand Line, it was clear that there was more than one class of Devil Fruit.

GAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY

By the Alabasta arc it was already established that Devil Fruits are divided into three main types – Paramecia, Zoan and Logia. While all Devil Fruit classes are special in their own way, none of them show as much diversity as the Zoan class, whose powers are based on transforming into animals.

RELATED: One Piece: Best Non-Devil Fruit Powers

Rob Lucci is now part of CP-0

The Zoan class was first introduced in the Drum Island arc of A piece, Dalton and Tony Tony Chopper being the first two users of these Devil Fruit. As evidenced by their powers, these Devil Fruits allow users to shapeshift into an animal at will, and as such, Zoan-type Devil Fruits grant great strength, power, speed, recovery rate, and any other type physical boost that one can think of. A special ability of the Zoans is being able to shift into a Hybrid or Man-Beast form. As its name suggests, this form allows the user to retain their human body but with the animal characteristics and powers offered by their Devil Fruits.

Compared to other Devil Fruits, the Zoan class is quite unique in that there are special subtypes of this class that were slowly introduced throughout history. In the Sabaody Archipelago arc, fans were introduced to the very first subclass, called Ancient Zoan, by none other than X Drake, one of the members of the 11 Supernovas.

What are the Ancient Zoan Devil Fruits?

X Drake of the Beasts Pirates One Piece

Elder Zoans are special Zoan Devil Fruits that function like regular Zoans, however, instead of offering the powers of any animal, they offer the powers of Ancient Beasts. Ancient Zoans are quite rare in the world of A piece and are known to be much stronger than regular Zoans. As expected, these Devil Fruits offer far superior strength in combat and, even more surprisingly, their recovery rate is known to be off the charts. Elder Zoans can recover from any injury quite quickly, and their incredible stamina helps them keep fighting for longer. X Drake’s Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Allosaurus was the first Ancient Zoan to be introduced in history. In the Wano Country arc, fans got to see many more former Zoans among the Kaido’s Beasts pirates. The All-Stars and Tobiroppo were both strictly comprised of Ancient Zoan Devil Fruit users.

What are Zoan’s mythical Devil Fruits?

Marco the Phoenix One Piece

Known to be the rarest type of devil fruit worldwide from A piece, the Mythical Zoan is up there with the strongest powers to exist in history. As their name suggests, these Zoan Devil Fruits offer the powers of mythical creatures, which makes them incredibly unique. Fans first got to see them in action during the Marineford arc where Marco showed off the power of his Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix, a devil fruit that allows him to transform into Phoenix and his hybrid. at will. The arc also showed fans a glimpse of another Mythical Zoan user in Sengoku, the Navy Fleet Admiral. His power, called the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Daibutsu allows him to become a giant golden Buddha at will.

Along with having each of their physical attributes augmented to dizzying levels, the Mythical Zoans also offer a unique ability to their users. Marco’s Phoenix powers give him the ability to use the blue regeneration flames with which he can heal himself from every injury. Likewise, the Buddha of Sengoku holds the ability to produce shockwaves from his palms. There are only a few other Mythical Zoan users in the story and they include Kaido, Yamato, Orochi, Catarina Devon, all of whom also have special powers bestowed upon them.

What Are Zoan Devil Artificial Fruits?

smile devil fruit users

Along with having two super-powerful subclasses, the Zoans have yet another subclass that was created by man, hence the name “Artificial Zoan Devil Fruits”. So far, the attempt to create artificial Zoan Devil fruit has been made twice. Vegapunk, the genius Navy scientist, created an artificial Zoan Devil Fruit using Kaido’s bloodline factor. Using it, he was able to create an artificial Zoan Devil Fruit with the exact same powers as Kaido’s Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu (the only difference being the color of the dragon). Surprisingly, Vegapunk called this Devil Fruit a failure, however, Momonosuke seems to be able to put all his powers to good use.

RELATED: One Piece: What the Land of Wano Arc Sets Up for Endgame

The second attempt at creating artificial Zoan Devil fruit was made by Caesar Clown. Using a chemical called SAD, Caesar was able to mass-produce these fruits, called SMILEs, with the powers of various animals. However, the powers they offer are very different from those of regular Zoans. Instead of allowing users to transform into animals and animal hybrids, these fruits transform their bodies into animals or animal parts. For example, Holdem of the Beasts Pirates has a lion’s head on its stomach that thinks independently, and he can’t turn it off. Others, like Sheepshead, could turn his arms into sheep’s horns instead of the sheep itself. Obviously, Caesar’s artificial Zoans pose a considerable risk, which is why Kaido only uses it on the lower class members of his crew.

Additionally, the SMILEs created by Caesar only have a 10% success rate, which means only one in 10 eaters get their power. 9s that do not gain any powers are still affected by standard devil fruit weaknesses, such as not being able to swim and having a weakness for sea stone. joy, meaning all they can do is laugh even when they don’t want to.

Clearly, Zoans remain the most diverse and arguably the most underrated Devil Fruit class. A piece. With their incredible power explored to the fullest in the Land of the Wa arc, fans finally see what makes them truly special and why the best of them are up there with the strongest of the Logia and Paramecia.

The Human-Human fruit, also known as Hito Hito no Mi, is a Zoan-type devil fruit that was eaten by none other than Tony Tony Chopper of the Straw Hat Pirates. With this fruit, Chopper gained the ability to transform into a human and a hybrid at will.

RELATED: One Piece: All The Straw Hat Pirates, Ranked By First Introduction

Although this devil fruit improves Chopper, like all other devil fruit for users of A play, it’s definitely not among the best devil fruit, and the downsides only get worse if it’s a human eating the fruit. The Hito Hito no Mi has several negatives that make it one of the worst devil fruits you can eat.

ten It does not grant powers if eaten by a human

One Piece Chopper Rumble ball

The Hito Hito no Mi works well enough for Chopper as he is a reindeer, but if a human ate this fruit, that would be a pretty useless power, given that they are already what the fruit offers. According to Oda, the Hito Hito no Mi will not change the person who eats them or make them stronger. Since this is the most powerful asset in the Devil Fruit Zoan class, eating the Hito Hito no Mi is pretty much wasted.

9 The Hito Hito No Mi could make a person wiser

Tony Tony Chopper Human Human Fruit

Since the Hito Hito no Mi was useless when eaten by a human, Oda was asked what would happen to the human who ate it, and jokingly replied that the person would eventually reach enlightenment and become wiser. Interestingly, Oda jokingly said this, so it’s not clear whether or not that will happen. Even if it was, it is certainly not a great power compared to all the other devil fruit.

8 The Hito Hito No Mi would not have a hybrid form

All Zoan-type Devil Fruits offer a hybrid form to their users, which is also generally the form of choice when it comes to close combat. However, if a human ate the Hito Hito no Mi, he wouldn’t even get a hybrid form because he’s human to begin with. Essentially, the Hito Hito no Mi takes away one of the biggest benefits of having a Zoan-type devil fruit, which is quite a mess for the person who eats it.

7 The fruit wouldn’t have a decent wake-up call

Tony tony chopper

All Devil Fruit has a special level that is only unlocked when the user manages to push the boundaries of what their Devil Fruit offers them, called Awakening.

RELATED: One Piece: 10 Things That Made No Sense About The Thriller Bark Arc

When awake, devil fruit works very differently and begins to affect things that they would not normally have. Unfortunately, for the Hito Hito no Mi, awakening would not do anything significant as it would make the user wiser to the maximum.

6 User of this devil fruit loses their ability to swim

Luffy is drowning

The Hito Hito no Mi not only has its own drawbacks, but also those that come with all devil fruit. As with all other devil fruits, the user of the human-human fruit loses the ability to swim. Don’t gain powers and losing the ability to swim is a terrible exchange. It works in the case of Chopper, but it would be unwise for a human to eat the fruit.

5 Sea Prism Stone weakens the user of this devil fruit

one room smoker

Sea Prism Stone is the weakness of every Devil Fruit user in A play. In essence, it gives off the same wavelength as the sea itself, making it a major weapon against those with devil fruit powers. A simple touch of Sea Prism Stone weakens people. In the case of the user of the Hito Hito no Mi, this is also true, and they will lose all their strength when touching this substance.

4 Chopper must rely on medicine to get stronger

To make the most of his Devil Fruit power, Tony Tony Chopper has created a drug called Rumble Ball, which allows him to access several additional transformations and makes this Devil Fruit much better.

RELATED: One Piece: 10 Villains Without Redeeming Qualities

While this is great, it is impractical as not everyone would be able to develop a drug to make themselves stronger. It also has side effects and the power up is only temporary showing once again that it is not that usable.

3 Monster Point paralyzes the user of this fruit

Thanks to the Rumble Ball, Chopper was able to access an incredibly potent form of this devil fruit, known as Monster Point. Using this form, Chopper gains tremendous strength and is able to defeat strong people relatively easily. However, this form also paralyzes the user afterwards, making it a double-edged sword. Additionally, it took Chopper years to master this form and he used to lose control of his senses every time he accessed it before the ellipse.

2 Chopper Turns Into Baby Geezer After Abusing His Monster Point

Baby old man side effect

Chopper managed to make the Hito Hito no Mi stronger with the help of Caesar Clown, and together the two managed to increase the duration of the Hito Hito no Mi to 30 minutes, which was a significant increase and enough time. for Chopper to be defeated. most enemies. However, one of the worst side effects is that it becomes a baby geezer after using it. If Tristan and Miyagi hadn’t been there to help him, Chopper would have had a lot of trouble in Wano.

1 The fruit does not offer a true human appearance to Chopper

While the Hito Hito no Mi works great for Chopper as it makes him much stronger and gives him the qualities of a human in the body of a reindeer, it doesn’t actually make him look human. When Chopper ate this devil fruit he was injured by humans and mistaken for a monster, which is one of the saddest realities of eating a devil fruit like Hito Hito no Mi.
